This 3 part project was a combined team effort of a team of three interior designers and one graphic designer (myself). Part 1 is the biggest part based upon an exhibit concept for the interior of the Trajan Market in Rome Italy. Part 2 is based upon the garden area of the market which was prompted to implement a café and gift shop in the Garden delle Militzia. Part 3 is based upon the Torre delle Militzia, a ancient brick tower structure set in the garden of the Trajan Market Museum. All three of these projects are meant to be three entirely different branded projects, yet we were
Part 1: Damned Elagabalus
Damned Elagabalus is the biggest part of this project that is a temporary exhibition piece for Roman Emperor, Elagabalus.
Part 3: Torre delle Militzia
Torre delle Militzia is a part of the tower that is a piece of understanding the history of Rome’s famous landmarks.
Part 2: Imperial Flora Café & Gift Shop
Imperial Flora Cafe & Gift Shop is a part of the Garden of the Militzia.
Our team envisioned the Garden delle Milizie becoming a reflective point where guests can relax and reflect upon the exhibit just before walking through. This envisioned garden will become a sanctuary of tranquility, which can be used alone or while sipping a coffee with friends. Along with our vision, there is a need to establish a vertical connection from the road up to the garden. This will include a staircase and an elevator for more accessibility. This will allow the Garden to become a "place" for the community to use as a place to escape or relaxation.
The addition of the elevator and stairs will allow all community members to come into the garden without having to purchase a ticket to the Trajan market museum.
Our Concept of Infused inspired my team to come up with a set of teas that were inspired by Rome. The teas are Lily-Rosemary, Mint-Chamomile, and Rose-Ginger. The packaging has the branded mark of the Garden and includes the branded coloring.
Branding
Branding for the cafe, the symbol for the cafe is a ‘and’ symbol with leaves that are also used with the patterns that are used for the merch and interior of the cafe. The branded colors are bright and colorful, giving an inviting feeling so that people will feel more comfortable. The typefaces are elegant to match with the sophisticated nature of the museum.

The patterns on the wall and the logo for the café were graphics I created specifically for the garden and use for the café and merchandise.
Imperial Flora Interior
This is a rendered architectural and interior render from Emily Greathouse. She uses my graphics in the image and our shared branded coloring in the image to the left.
Imperial Flora Patterning
My goal when creating the patterns for the cafe was to use the same shape but in various ways to express how we could infuse the shape into every aspect of the designs for the cafe.

Imperial Flora Café and Gift Shop App
The app will showcase the café and the history of the garden that it calls home. The app has the café menu so guests will know what to order and will be able to order ahead. The app also showcases the merchandise for the café and tower.
